Davis Has Second Highest Bipartisan Score Among Illinois Delegation
U.S. Rep. Rodney Davis (R-Ill.) receives the second highest bipartisan score among members of the Illinois Congressional Delegation according to The Lugar Center – McCourt School of Bipartisan Index and is ranked 23 of 427 overall for 114th Congress.
“Making Washington work has always been my focus and you can’t do that by only working with one side,” said Davis. “From the Hire More Heroes Act to the Disaster Declaration Improvement Act, I continue to work to pass policies that are good for the 13th District. It’s less about what party proposes the idea and more about whether or not it’s the best policy for those I represent. I look forward to continuing this record of bipartisanship.”
Davis has introduced several bipartisan bills since coming to Congress. Most recently, he re-introduced the LEAP Act with U.S. Rep. Dan Lipinski (D-Ill.) and his bill, with U.S. Rep. Cheri Bustos (D-Ill.), to make the FEMA disaster declaration process passed the House with unanimous support again this Congress.
