U.S. Rep. Rodney Davis (R-Ill.) today released the following statement after Sara Wojcicki Jimenez (R-Springfield) was appointed to the 99th State House District:
“As a person who has worked in the highest levels of state government, Sara has the experience needed to hit the ground running at this critical time,” said Davis. “And as the mother of a young family, including twin boys, something we both have in common, she understands the lasting impact decisions made in Springfield today will have on the future of our children and grandchildren. I am confident that Sara will be a relentless advocate for the people of Sangamon County and I look forward to working with her on a variety of issues.”
