U.S. Rep. Rodney Davis (R-Ill.) today released the following statement after the NGA officially chose the St. Louis site for the Next NGA West campus:
"I'm disappointed, but unfortunately, not surprised, by the NGA's decision," said Davis. "It was clear from the meetings we had with the director that the Obama Administration was more concerned with fulfilling their own executive orders than national security. I am still dumbfounded about the errors in the Army Corps' report and will continue to work to address these issues and ensure these reports are accurate. I commend my colleague Rep. Mike Bost for his efforts in urging the NGA to reconsider their position due to these inaccuracies and the superiority of the St. Clair County site."
