Davis to Serve on House Ag Committee for Fourth Term
U.S. Rep. Rodney Davis (R-Ill.) today released this statement after being named to serve on the House Committee on Agriculture. Davis has served on this committee since coming to Congress in 2013.
“Agriculture is an important job creator in my district and I’m looking forward to being a voice for farmers and ag producers on this committee for another term,” said Davis. “I’ve been honored to be part of two successful farm bills and now we must ensure the latest farm bill is implemented and protect the rollback of harmful regulations that we made a priority last Congress. Implementing the farm bill is another reason Speaker Pelosi needs to come to the table to negotiate a deal with President Trump to re-open government.”
Additionally, Davis will serve on three committees for the 116th Congress. He announced earlier this month that he will serve on the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure as the Ranking Member for the Subcommittee on Highways and Transit and as the Ranking Member for the Committee on House Administration.
